Briemar Sodium Chloride 0.9% for Irrigation – 30mL Sterile Sachets, Box of 75 (SC3050)
Briemar SC3050 sachets each hold 30mL of sterile 0.9% sodium chloride (normal saline) for irrigation. They are made in Victoria by Briemar, an Australian TGA-licensed manufacturer, and sterilised by gamma irradiation. Each box holds 75 single-use sachets.

Intended uses
The solution is for mechanical cleansing by sterile irrigation of topical sites. These include:
- wounds and tissues
- body cavities
- indwelling urethral catheters
- surgical drainage tubes
It can also be used to soak surgical dressings and to rinse instruments and laboratory specimens.
For irrigation only. Not for injection. Each sachet is single use, so discard any unused solution. Always read the label and follow the directions for use.

Frequently asked questions
Is this saline the same as sodium chloride for injection?
No. SC3050 is for irrigation only and must not be injected.
How many sachets are in a carton?
A carton has 3 boxes of 75, so 225 sachets in total. Buying 3 or more boxes gets 10% off every box.
How is this different from Briemar Water for Irrigation?
This product is 0.9% saline, which is isotonic. Briemar Water for Irrigation (SW3050) is sterile water with no sodium chloride. Use whichever your care plan or clinical protocol specifies.
