MenQuadfi 0.5mL Single-dose Vial - Box of 1

This is a restricted schedule drug. Only to be sold to medical professionals. You will be required to provide your APHRA Registration Number/Scheduled Drug License.

A quadrivalent meningococcal conjugate vaccine (A, C, W, Y) with tetanus toxoid carrier protein. Registered in Australia for people ≥12 months, supplied as a single-dose 0.5 mL vial for intramuscular use. S4 (Prescription Only Medicine).

Key features

  • Indication & age: Active immunisation against IMD caused by serogroups A, C, W & Y; registered ≥12 months. Use per the Australian Immunisation Handbook and local recommendations. 

  • Dose & route: Single 0.5 mL IM dose (deltoid or anterolateral thigh). Booster: may be given as a single booster in adolescents/adults previously primed ≥4 years earlier—follow official guidance. Do not administer SC/ID. Single-use only.

  • Presentation: 1 × 0.5 mL vial (also available in boxes of 10). Vial stopper not made with natural latex. 

Composition & excipients (per 0.5 mL)

10 µg of each meningococcal polysaccharide A, C, W, Y, each conjugated to tetanus toxoid (~55 µg); preservative-free. Excipients: sodium chloride, sodium acetate, water for injections.

Storage & handling

  • Store at 2–8 °C. Do not freeze.

  • Shelf-life: up to 48 months at 2–8 °C.

  • Excursions: components stable to 25 °C for up to 72 hours; then use or discard—do not return to fridge.

  • Do not mix with other products in the same syringe.
